Product Description
LOCTITE 330 is general adhesive that is used to bond metal, wood, ferrite, ceramic, and plastic materials. The adhesive is registered to NSF category P1 and is for use where there is no food contact in and around processing areas. Below are notable product characteristics:
Directions for Use:
- Bond surfaces should be clean and free from grease.
- To ensure fast and reliable cure, Activator 7387 should be applied to one of the bond surfaces and the adhesive to the other. All parts need to be assembled within 15 min.
- The recommended bond line gap is 0.1 mm. Where there are larger bond gaps ( up to 0.5 mm maximum), OR a faster cure speed is require, the activator should be applied to both surfaces. Parts need to be assembled immediately(<1 min).
- Excess adhesive can be wiped away with an organic solvent.
- Bond should be held clamped until adhesive has attached.
- Allow the product 24-72 hours after assembly, to develop full strength before subjecting to any loads. ( Time depends on bond gap, materials, and ambient conditions). See below graph for bond gap and how it affects cure speed.

Will cleaning my surfaces prior to installation affect bonding?
Where aqueous washing systems are used to clean the surfaces before bonding. It is important to check for compatibility of the washing solution with the adhesive. In some cases these aqueous washes can affect the cure performance of the adhesive.
Product Storage
Store product in the unopened container in a dry location with proper labeling. Material removed from containers cannot be reused and must be properly disposed of.
