Installation

  • Prepare the mounting surface.
  • Mix the 2-part epoxy using the instruction included with the kit and apply.
  • Press on the plastic piece of the mounting kit until it clicks.
  • Wait 10 – 15 minutes.
  • Remove the plastic mounting kit from the stud.
  • Thread the sensor onto the stud.

Motor Fin Mount

  • Measure the depth and width of cooling fan to select the proper Motor Fin Mount.
  • Verify the Motor Fin Mount is long enough to make direct contact with the motor case between the fins.
  • Add LOCTITE AA HH3300 adhesive is then used to hold the mount in place.

The thickness of the mount will minimize the amount of adhesive needed.

When mounted correctly the sensor should sit firmly in place and not be able to wobble or easily move.
