3.2 How to find Monitoring Point in the MHM dashboard

Locating a Monitoring Point

A specific monitoring point can be found in multiple ways within the platform. Users can locate a monitoring point by using the following:

  1. Using the Hierarchy search bar, users can search for a specific monitoring point. Once selected the asset page associated with the monitoring point will appear.

If a monitoring point has a corresponding alert it will be displayed within the search bar.

Using the Monitoring Points Page:

1. To locate the monitoring points dashboard, click "MONITORING POINTS" from the left-hand navigation pane.

2. The Monitoring Points Dashboard provides a table view of assets grouped by sub-location and severity.

On this page, users have the ability to do the following:

  1. Filter monitoring points based on alert severity.
  2. Ability to filter monitoring points based on sub-location.
  3. Add/remove columns to display additional information for the monitoring points.
  4. Filter by Connection.
  5. Export monitoring points table to excel.
Users can add and remove the following monitoring point identifiers from the table by selecting them from the drop-down menu.

Highlighted identifiers will appear in the table.

  • Monitoring point
  • Type
  • Asset name
  • Location
  • Sub-location
  • Last transmission
  • connection
  • Gateway
  • RSSI
  • Head connected
  • Event Type
  • Event state
  • Under maintenance
  • Battery Level ("line powered" as battery level will display for all monitoring points that return Null as battery level.)
  • Installation date

Once selected the telemetry tab on the asset page associated with the monitoring point will appear. On this page users are able to:

  1. View and toggle between different monitoring points on the asset.
  2. View the asset gallery.
  3. View average telemetry data associated  with the selected Monitoring Point.
  4. View telemetry data associated with the selected Monitoring Point.
