3.20 How to Create a New Notification Rule in the MHM dashboard

If you have not created a notification rule yet, you can set up basic rule settings directly from the welcome screen, using the steps below:
  1. Click "NEXT" on the Welcome module.
  2. Select from the following conditions: 
    • All Events Created with Recommendations
    • Newly Created
    • Closed
  3. Select your notification type and provide a phone number if one is not already on file.
    • Users will need to consent to receiving SMS messages. 

Select "SAVE". This will add the rule to all of your sites. To adjust notification rules per site, visit your account settings.

Users with an existing notification rule, follow the steps below to add a new rule.

1. Select your initials in the top right corner, and click "Account".

2. Select the "NOTIFICATION SETTINGS" tab.

3. Select " NEW RULE".

4. Using the drop-down arrows, fill out the form with the following information:

  1. Preset
    • New Only
    • Closed Only
  2. Workflow Change
    • Status
    • Object Added
    • Cost Avoidance
  3. Status Set: these selections change based on the workflow change selection
    • (Status) New
    • (Status) In Progress
    • (Status) Hold
    • (Status) Complete
    • (Status) CA Review
    • (Status) Closed
    • (Object Added) Comments
    • (Object Added) Alerts
    • (Object Added) Attachments
  4. Rule Name
    • A Suggested name will populate based on Preset or Workflow change. Must be 50 characters or less.
  5. Priority
    • Critical
    • Normal
  6. Type
    • Repair
    • Inspection
    • Device Service
  7. Select Site(s)
  8. Notification Type
    1. SMS- Users must provide consent to receive SMS messages.
    2. Email

5. Select "SAVE".
