9.7 As a CME, how do I find and acknowledge an alert in the MHM dashboard?

How to Locate an Alert:

  1. Filter based on level.
  2. Filter based on state.
  3. Select to export alert table.
  4. View asset page.
  5. Selecting "Alerts" under the navigation panel.
Active Alerts Page
  1. View all active or resolved alerts year to date.
  2. Bar graph view of all alerts over the past year.
  3. Ability to filter through all alerts based on level, state, and duration.
  4. Ability to switch views between all active alerts or just alerts at the current selected site.
  5. Export table.
  6. Table view of alerts with pertinent information.
Selecting an Alert

When an alert is selected the alerts tab under that asset will appear.

From here you can do the following:

  1. View the alert summary along with relevant telemetry.
  2. View previous comments.
  3. Change the state of the alert.
  4. Comment on an alert.
  5. Resolve the alert.
  6. Add the alert to Recommendation.

By adding alerts to a recommendation, they will automatically be acknowledged.

Once complete copy and paste your recommendation into the notes section of the Current Asset Health Tab for the customer to view. For more information on how to access this section, click here.

Viewing Multiple Alerts

To view multiple alerts associated with an asset select the desired monitoring points from the list.

Once multiple alerts are selected users will be able to do the following:

  1. View all alert details and relevant telemetry.
  2. View/add comments on a singular alert.
  3. Add comments to multiple alerts at once.
  4. Resolve multiple alerts.
  5. Add the alerts to Recommendation.

By adding alerts to a recommendation, they will automatically be acknowledged.

Resolving Multiple Alerts

To resolve multiple alerts at once do the following:

  1. Select the alerts you would like to resolve.
  2. Click resolve.
  3. Leave a comment.
  4. Click resolve.

Adding a Comment to Multiple Alerts

To add a comment to multiple alerts at once do the following:

  1. Select the alerts you would like to leave a comment on.
  2. Click comment.
  3. Enter in your comment.
  4. Select Comment.

Viewing Resolved Alerts

Users have the ability to view resolved alert data in two areas within the dashboard.

  1. Alerts Dashboard
  2. Alerts tab associated with that asset.

Select the resolved tab at the top of the alerts dashboard. From here users are able to do the following:

  1. View bar graph of resolved alerts year to date.
  2. Filter based on state, site, and duration
  3. Ability to filter to view all resolved alerts, resolved alerts with no cost avoidance values, or resolved alerts with cost avoidance values
  4. Export the table
  5. Edit the columns of the table to add or remove additional details.  

1. Under the assets alerts page click resolved to view previous alerts.
