3.19 How to Pause and Resume Alerts on the Asset Level

To perform actions on this page you must have one of the following roles assigned with Default User:

  • Technician
  • Manager
  • CME
  • Company Admin

It is important to know that if a user pauses alerts that the maximum they can pause is 90 days. If you set up an alert pause the alert will automatically turn back on at the expiration of the selected end date.

2. Select "PAUSE ALERTING" in the top right corner.

3. In the pop-up window, use the drop-down arrows to enter the details below into the form. Once complete, click "PAUSE ALERTING."

  1. Date and time to start the pause.
  2. Date and time to end the pause. 90 day max on pausnig an alert.
  3. Select the time zone that the asset is in.
  4. Comment as to why you are pausing alerts. 250 character max.
  5. Select Pause Alerting.

4. A banner will appear at the top of the page. Select the "i" icon to view more information on the paused alert.

  • A red banner appears when the asset is currently pausing alerts.
  • An orange banner appears when a future period of pausing alerts is scheduled.

5. To restore alerts, select "RESUME ALERTING."

6. Enter your comment and select "RESUME ALERTING."

7. All users with access to the site and notifications enabled will receive an email when the asset is paused or resumed manually.
